Ministries

APC/APG Couples Counseling
The Couples Counseling Ministry conveys married couples closer to God and to each other through learning and embracing the Godly principles of marriage.

Description of Ministry:
The Couples Counseling provides married couples with the opportunity to fellowship and learn what God ordained for marriage. Counseling involves studying the Word of God, engaging in thoughtful discussion on topics to strengthen marriages, relationship and socialization skills.

Mission Statement:
Teaching Couples the ethical and biblical standards of marriage, and the kind of love they must have for each other. (1 Corinthians 13: 4 – 8) Love is patient , is kind, is not jealous does not brag, is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly, does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoice with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. “Love never fails”. That is what Jesus has instructed us to love our neighbors as our selves.

Deacon's Ministry

Deacon’s Ministry

Mission:
To assist the Pastor with the spiritual work of the church and serve as disciples bringing others to Christ.

Description of Ministry:
The Deacons assist the Pastor in duties that are needed to be done. They are spiritual leaders who serve the needs of the church body.

Ministries and Activities:
Serve Communion to those who are shut-in and visit the sick. Serve in various ministries to support the Church mission and vision.

Meeting:
The Deacon’s Ministry meets the 1st of each month.

Deaconess Ministry

Mission:
The Deaconess Ministry cultivates peace, love and Christian unity among the membership with demeanor. Deaconesses assist the leadership by being accustomed to the needs of the body of Christ.

Description of the Ministry:
Deaconesses assist the Pastor and Deacon. Their primary role is to enhance the spiritual matters of the church. Deaconesses are also helpers of the church and disciples to bring others to the body of Christ. They help to prepare the elements for Communion Sunday, the candidates for Baptism and so forth.

Meeting:
The Deaconess Ministry meets on the 1ST and 3rd Saturday of each month. at 6:30 PM

Education and Scholarship Ministry

Mission:
To encourage students’ academic achievement, participation in extracurricular activities and contributing to community service.

Description of Ministry:
The Education and Scholarship Ministry cultivates student, recognition of students from kindergarten through 12th grades. A college scholarship is available to active APC/APG INC. members who are seniors graduating from high school and have kept a sustainable G.P.A.

Ministries and Activities:

Student Recognition:
Semi-annually students are recognized for school achievement, extracurricular activities and community service.

Scholarship Recognition:
A scholarship is given to students who are entering college and has kept a sustainable G.P.A. Many APC/APG students receive awards for their accomplishments and are encouraged to further their education.

Ministry Requests:
The Education and Scholarship Ministry requests members’ financial contributions in support of the student recognition and scholarship programs.

Feeding Ministry

Mission:
To cater to the church and community by support with tasty delicacy’s and fellowship. Preparing and Serving hot meals to many who are hungry and find their way to the church.

Matthew 25: 37 – 40 …Then shall the righteous answer him saying, Lord, when saw we thee a hungered and fed thee? Or thirsty and give thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger and took thee in? Naked and clothed thee? When saw we thee sick or in prison and came unto thee? And the King shall answer them and say unto them, verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

We associate with some feeding groups in the community. Where disasters strikes, we would move in and render a helping hand by feed and giving clothing to those who lost every thing .

Our feeding outreach Ministry:
Our Outreach Ministry collects blankets, clothing and food to be send to fire victims in our community and other areas in the United State of America.

Missionary Ministries

Mission:
To cultivate the support of love and care, helps and service spiritual development to those in need.
Description of Ministry:
The missionaries serve the body of Christ. They attend to the needs of the sick, bereaved and the shut –in.

Ministries and Activities:
Missionaries participate in membership development by visiting the sick and shut-in and through intercessory prayer sessions.

Meetings:
The Missionary Ministry meets the 1st Saturday of each month

Overseas Ministries

Description of Ministry:
With support financially and spiritually, Anointed Pentecostal Mission was organized to help our Children of Liberia. With The Anointed Pentecostal Christian Academy School, we are able to offer support to the orphaned children of Liberia through education and care.

Mission:
To empower and prepare young adults and children through early Christian spiritual education to honor and praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To serve God’s purpose through ministry in the Republic of Liberia, West Africa.

Ministries and Activities:
Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people around the world, sending his word to the lost, and unbelief, giving them hope to know that Jesus is our everlasting father, he is the mighty God, He is our prince of peace, and the wonderful counselor who has empower us with the Holy Spirit to use many spiritual activities in sharing and spreading his love to all mankind in the world. Isaiah 9: 6b

Every year our Overseas Ministry Collect and purchase note books, pens and pencils to ship to the Anointed Pentecostal Christian Academy School with other items such as multi vitamin, aspirin, ibuprofen tablets and non perishable food, tooth paste and toothbrushes.

USHER BOARD MINISTRY

Mission:
The mission of APC/APG Ushers are to be doorkeepers of the Church for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ making sure that all guests feel welcome and comfortable.

Description of Ministry:
APC/APG Ushers are the spiritual hosts and hostesses of the church. They receive and execute the order of the day from the Pastor. They see that the church is in proper order to receive members and guests. Ushers make sure that required worship service items are dispensed among the congregation as needed. Ushers are to make members and visitors feel comfortable. They welcome, seat, and assist worshippers with special needs. They respond to questions, assist with emergencies, collect offering and direct individuals to restrooms.

Meeting:
The Usher Ministry meets the 1ST Saturday of each month at 6:30 PM.

Youth Ministry

Mission:
Our mission is to cultivate and enhance the Christian experience of Youth through spiritual growth, character, discipleship and leadership developments.

Description of Ministry:
APC/APG Inc. Youth Ministry provides a forum for youth involvement in the church. The Youth ministry plans and executes youth functions that support the church’s mission. The Youth  officers includes the president, secretary, treasurer, and chaplain. As part of the ministry, youth develop leadership skills, team work, program planning and Christian fellowship. In addition, APC/APG Inc. youth are able to guide each other in order to prepare for and model leadership skills.

Ministries and Activities:
The following are some of the many programs planned by the Youth Ministry: Youth Night Out, Sisterhood Empowerment Programs, Youth Retreats, “Mid-Night Madness,” Back to School BBQ, Brotherhood Empowerment Programs, and Fundraisers.
The Youth Ministry participates and plans variety of fun activities that are approved by the Pastor and the Advisor.

Meetings:
The Youth Ministry meets second and fourth Sunday after service at 3: 30 PM each month.

Children Ministry

Mission:
To prepare the Children  through early Christian spiritual education for praise and worship of Jesus Christ

Description of Ministry:
The Children of APC/APG learn to praise and worship through scripture, songs, and other Christ-centered activities. The children prepare for special worship services and events such as Easter, Mother’s and Father’s Days, Children’s Day and Christmas. The children also attend special trips during the summer months. A light snacks and drinks are provided for refreshments.
